WILL SALTER

Will Salter joined UNSQUASHABLE in 2022 and won his maiden PSA Satellite event the following year with a straight-games victory over fellow Englishman Heston Malik to win the PSA Mote Open in Maidstone, England.

The young Englishman, claimed his second PSA title just two weeks later with victory over Jared Carter in the final of the PSA Bexley Open in his third consecutive final, claiming a memorable win to reverse his loss over the same opponent in the previous weeks PSA Beckenham Open. Just two weeks later, Will overcame fellow UNSQUASHABLE player Owain Taylor in a marathon 94-minute 5-game final at the PSA Lexden Open to claim his third PSA title from four consecutive final appearances.

Winner of 5 Professional Squash Association (PSA) titles

A sports scholar at the University of Birmingham (UoB) and a member of the UoB first team which won the British University Championships (BUCS) Team Gold Medal for the 2022-23 season, Will won the deciding match 3-2 against former British Junior Open Champion Ameeshenraj Chandaran of Malaysia, representing the University of West England (UWE), to earn the UoB victory in the final.

Will finished 6th at the2022-23 BUCS Individual Championships in Nottingham and was selected to represent Great Britain at 2022 World University Championships in Cairo, Egypt.

In April 2024, Will claimed back-to-back PSA titles, winning the St. Albans Squash Classic in England and BRESS Breda Squash Satellite in the Netherlands.
