Yuri Farneti wins PSA SquashLife Utrecht Squash Open

Yuri Farneti defeated Alex Smith of Ireland 11-8 11-5 11-3 in the final of the PSA SquashLife Utrecht Squash Open 2024 to win his 17th Professional Squash Association career title.
The Italian No.1 and 9-time Italian National Champion claimed his latest title in impressive style at the Squash Utrecht complex boasting eighteen squash courts.
In his opening match, Yuri Farneti defeated qualifier Victor Reguera for the loss of just three points (11-0 11-2 11-1) before equally comprehensive victories over Ishmael Mubure (11-411-311-2) and 2nd seed Mason Smales of Samoa (11-1 8-11 11-1 11-2) in the quarter-finals and semi-finals respectively.
